Short answer
Each platform has its own free recovery and appeal pages — the table below links to them directly, from instagram.com/hacked and facebook.com/hacked to Microsoft’s recovery help and Telegram’s spam appeals. Use only links on the platform’s own domain, typed or bookmarked by you — never links from DMs, comments or “support” accounts. No platform charges for recovery or asks for your password or codes in chat.
The directory
| Platform | Hacked / can’t log in | Disabled, banned or locked | Official help |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hacked-account form | Disabled / suspended account | Help centre | |
| Hacked-account form | Disabled / suspended account | Help centre | |
| Stolen account help | Banned accounts | Help centre | |
| TikTok | Hacked account help | Violations & bans | Help centre |
| YouTube | Hacked account help | Channel terminations | Help centre |
| Google / Gmail | Account recovery | Disabled / suspended account | Help centre |
| X (Twitter) | Compromised account help | Suspended accounts | Help centre |
| Snapchat | Compromised account help | Locked account | Help centre |
| Compromised account help | Restricted account | Help centre | |
| Telegram | Sessions & two-step verification | Spam limits & appeal | Help centre |
| Microsoft / Outlook | Hacked account help | Locked account | Help centre |
Each link opens the platform’s own help page. Menus change over time; if a page moves, start from the platform’s help centre in the last column.
How to tell a real recovery page
- The address is on the platform’s own domain: instagram.com, facebook.com, whatsapp.com, tiktok.com, google.com, x.com, snapchat.com, linkedin.com, telegram.org, microsoft.com.
- Lookalike domains, URL shorteners and “support” pages on social media are not official.
- Real recovery never asks for a fee, your password in chat, or a login code by message.
- Not sure an email is genuine? See fake Meta and Instagram emails.
Which route for which problem
- Hacked, password or email changed: the hacked-account column, as early as possible.
- Disabled, suspended, banned: the appeal column — and check the appeal deadlines.
- Lost email or phone: the platform’s recovery flow; see our guides for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google.
- Unsure what a notice means: disabled, suspended, restricted, locked.
When the official route stalls
Self-service fails more often than it should — rejected selfies, missing contact details, automated rejections. We prepare cases and escalate them through these same official channels; we never use “insider access” or ask for your password. The pre-analysis is free: hacked account recovery.
Frequently asked questions
What is the official link to recover a hacked Instagram account?
instagram.com/hacked — start there from the app or browser. The table links Instagram’s help pages too.
What is the official link for a hacked Facebook account?
facebook.com/hacked, ideally from a device you’ve used before.
Do platforms charge to recover an account?
No. Official recovery and appeal routes are free. Anyone charging for “direct access” is not the platform.
Is there a phone number for Instagram, Facebook or Google support?
Google says its phone support can’t help you sign in, and Meta doesn’t recover personal accounts by phone. Numbers advertised online for that are usually scams.
