Why a Facebook ban hurts more than it looks
Facebook disables accounts for suspected fake identity, Community Standards violations, unusual advertising activity, compromised-account signals, or simply for being swept up in an automated enforcement wave. The reason given is often generic.
The part that catches people out is the blast radius. Since Meta unified its account systems, a Facebook suspension can also take down linked Instagram and ad accounts. That is why business owners feel these bans hardest — one profile going down can freeze the Pages and ad spend that a company runs on.
There is also a deadline, and it is the single most important fact on this page. For many suspension types Meta gives a limited window — often 180 days, and in some flows as little as 30 — to submit an appeal before the account becomes permanently ineligible for review. The disable notice itself states your deadline. It does not resolve itself if you wait.
02
When we can help
- A disabled personal profile where the appeal window shown in the notice has not yet closed.
- An ID-verification step that keeps failing or looping despite you being the genuine account holder.
- A Business Manager whose owning profile was disabled, leaving Pages and ad accounts orphaned — recoverable either by reinstating the profile or by evidencing business ownership.
- Ad account restrictions that followed a policy flag which can be argued with documentation.
- A suspension that followed an account takeover — see hacked account recovery for that route.
03
When we cannot help
We will tell you at the pre-analysis stage if you are in one of these:
- The appeal deadline in your disable notice has already passed and the account is no longer eligible for review.
- Disablement for confirmed severe violations — fraud, scam advertising, coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
- Accounts created under a name that is not yours, where identity verification can never succeed.
- Requests to gain access to a Page or asset you do not legitimately own.
04Reach the result in 4 steps
-
Get in touch
Send the disable notice — especially the appeal deadline it names — plus what the account was used for and whether a Business Manager is involved.
-
Free pre-analysis
We check your remaining window, work out whether the personal-profile route or the business-ownership route fits your case, and tell you which assets are realistically recoverable.
-
Work begins
We prepare one properly documented appeal — not duplicates, which slow the queue — with correct ID material and, for business cases, registration documents, domain verification and ad-spend invoices.
-
Result and delivery
You are told exactly what the outcome was, with the platform response where there is one.
05
What we need from you
- A screenshot of the disable notice, including the stated appeal deadline.
- The account's registered email address — cases only link correctly when this matches.
- A clear photo of government ID matching the account name. Blurry or partial IDs are the most common avoidable rejection reason.
- For business cases: company registration documents, domain verification access, and invoices evidencing ad spend.
- A list of which Pages, ad accounts and Instagram accounts were connected, so we know the full scope of what is locked.
06Security and your data
We never ask for your password or verification codes. Appeals run through Meta's official forms tied to your registered contact details.
Identity documents you share are used only to prepare the appeal submission and are never retained longer than the case requires or passed to third parties.
07
What to realistically expect
Simple personal-profile reinstatements can resolve within days. Business Manager and asset-ownership cases take longer, because escalation paths differ per asset type.
Recovery is not guaranteed and mistakes are costly here — a badly filed business case can make assets permanently unrecoverable, which is why one properly built submission matters more than speed.
Terms agreed up front. What the work involves and what it costs is agreed with you in plain language, so the amount is never a surprise later.

Frequently asked questions
What happens to my linked Instagram and ad accounts?
They frequently go down with the Facebook profile, because Meta treats them as one identity graph. The upside is the reverse also applies: reinstating the profile usually restores the linked assets together rather than requiring separate appeals.
My Business Manager is locked but my personal profile is fine. What now?
That is a different route. Instead of a profile appeal, it runs on evidencing business ownership — registration documents, domain verification and ad-spend invoices — to regain asset access directly.
Should I submit the appeal several times to be safe?
No. Duplicate submissions reset nothing and can slow your place in the review queue. One complete, correctly documented appeal is the strategy.
I missed the deadline in the notice. Is anything left?
Often not, and we will say so plainly. Missing that date is the single most common reason accounts become permanently unrecoverable. Send us the notice and we will check rather than guess.
