Why TikTok removals are their own problem
TikTok's scale and re-upload culture make it different from every other platform here. A single video about you can be duetted, stitched and re-posted hundreds of times within hours, which means removal has to deal with the copies as well as the original — and the copies frequently outlive the source.
TikTok's moderation is largely automated, which cuts both ways: reports get processed quickly, but generic reports also get dismissed quickly. The specific routes — impersonation, intellectual property infringement, privacy violations, and the dedicated flows for harassment and non-consensual content — behave very differently from the general "Report" option.
For creators, the most common case is not harassment at all: it is someone re-uploading your videos as their own, sometimes on accounts monetising your work. That is an IP claim, not a community-guidelines report, and filing it under the wrong one is why most such reports fail.

What we need from you

What to realistically expect
IP claims with clean evidence of original authorship tend to be the fastest. Harassment and privacy cases are more judgement-based and take longer.
Re-uploads are an ongoing problem rather than a one-time fix; a first wave of removals plus a documented history makes later reports faster, but nothing makes a video permanently unrepostable.

Frequently asked questions
Someone is re-uploading all my videos. Is that a copyright case?
Usually yes. Re-uploading your original footage without permission is an intellectual property matter, not a community-guidelines one — and filing it correctly is why it succeeds where a generic report gets dismissed.
What about duets and stitches of my video?
Those are harder, because TikTok designs the format for reuse and treats it as commentary by default. A duet can still be removable if it crosses into harassment, impersonation or non-consensual content — the context decides, not the format.
Can you get the account deleted, not just the video?
Account-level removal is possible when the account exists primarily to impersonate or harass. For an otherwise normal account that stole one video, expect the video to come down rather than the account.
New copies keep appearing. Does that mean the removal failed?
No — it means the content spread before removal. The first round establishes the claim on record, which makes subsequent reports on new copies significantly faster to action.
